House removals in Edmonton

Whole-home moves across Edmonton — terraces, estates and flats above the shops — packed, dismantled, moved and rebuilt by a crew that works these streets every week.

Moving a whole house is a different job to shifting a few items, and it deserves a crew that does it properly. Around Edmonton that means understanding the homes: the narrow terraces off Hertford Road, the flats stacked above Fore Street, the estates where the van parks a good walk from the front door. None of it catches us out, because it’s where we work.

A good house removal is mostly planning. Get the access, the parking and the order of the day right, and moving day becomes calm instead of chaotic. That’s the part we take seriously — furniture removals in Edmonton aren’t about rushing, they’re about not having to.

How a house move works with us

  1. 1

    The quote

We look at what’s moving — in person or over a video walk-round — and check access at both ends. You get a clear quote with no shelf-price guesswork.

  2. 2

    The plan

We sort parking, loading windows and the order of the day. On red-route stretches of Fore Street we arrange a proper loading slot ahead of time.

  3. 3

    Packing (if you want it)

Anywhere from a box of materials to the whole house wrapped and labelled. The kitchen and the fragile bits are where most people ask for a hand.

  4. 4

    Moving day

The crew wraps furniture as it comes out, dismantles what needs dismantling, and loads the lorry properly so nothing shifts in transit.

  5. 5

    Into the new place

Beds rebuilt, wardrobes back together, boxes in the right rooms. We don’t just dump it in the hall and leave.

The homes we move

Victorian terraces

The bread and butter of Edmonton — narrow hallways, steep stairs and street parking that’s never simple. We move out of them every week.

Flats above the shops

The parades along Fore Street and Silver Street mean stair carries and a busy pavement below. Routine for us, planned in advance.

Post-war estates

Longer carries from the parking to the door, sometimes a lift, sometimes not. We plan the walk in so it’s timed and priced honestly.

Bush Hill Park houses

The quieter, leafier end towards Enfield — usually easier access, and a chance to load without a fight for space.

House-move questions

How much notice do you need for a house move in Edmonton?

The earlier the better, especially for month-end and weekend moves when everyone wants the same dates. That said, we take shorter-notice jobs when we have the crew free — get in touch and we’ll tell you straight what’s possible for your date.

Do you dismantle and rebuild furniture?

Yes, it’s part of a full house removal. Beds, wardrobes, flat-pack units and anything that won’t go through a door in one piece — we take it apart carefully, label the fittings, and put it back together at the new place.

Can you move me out of a terrace with no parking outside?

That’s most of Edmonton, so yes. We check the street beforehand, get the lorry as close as the road allows, and where it’s a red route or genuinely impossible we arrange a loading window. A longer carry is planned in rather than sprung on you on the day.

Do you cover Lower and Upper Edmonton, and nearby areas?

All of it — Lower Edmonton and Edmonton Green in N9, Upper Edmonton and Angel Edmonton in N18, plus Bush Hill Park and the neighbouring areas like Tottenham, Ponders End and Enfield. Moving into Edmonton from elsewhere is just as easy for us as moving out.

Will you help with packing, or just the move?

Both. Some people pack their own boxes and have us handle furniture and fragile items; others hand over the whole house. We can supply materials, pack a single room like the kitchen, or wrap and box everything — you decide how much you want to do.

What happens if my completion date slips?

It happens, and we work around it. If there’s a gap between moving out and moving in, we can store your things in between so you’re not stranded. Tell us as soon as you know and we’ll adjust the plan.
