Do you move flats with no lift?
Constantly. A big share of Edmonton flats are walk-ups above the shops, so stair-only moves are normal for us. We bring the crew and kit for it and plan the carry so it’s steady, not a scramble.
What if my sofa won’t fit up the stairs?
We check the turns before the day where we can. If something genuinely won’t make the bend, we’ll tell you the options — dismantling it, hoisting through a window in rare cases, or a different route. We’d rather know in advance than get stuck halfway.
Can you move a flat above a shop on Fore Street?
Yes — it’s one of the most common jobs we do. We plan the parking and the loading around the shopfront and the traffic so your move doesn’t block the road or the business below.
Is a flat move a man-and-van job or a full removal?
Depends on the size. A studio or one-bed is often a man-and-van job; a bigger apartment with a lot of furniture is a full removal. We’ll size it honestly once we know what’s moving.
